| I met my wife, Kristin Bowler, in 1995. We fell in love in Hawaii in 1996, where I photographed her all over Maui and the Big Island. When it came time to look for a ring I knew it had to be special. I wanted something that had the feeling of a ring from a lost world, a rain forest or something made by the artists of the ancient civilizations of the volcanoes.
